 INTERESTED IN COMMISSIONING AN ART PIECE? 

What better way to capture a memory than to have a painting made…just for you?

I paint anything…horses, giraffes, mountains, mushrooms, trees, barns, or tractors…anything with one exception. In the future, I may, but at this time, I do not paint portraits.

How much does a commission cost?

• I have found a pricing that works well by pricing a piece based on linear inch (sum of length and width). Currently, I use $20 per linear inch for a piece without a frame and $25 per linear inch with a frame.

 So…….

• For example, an 11 x 14 panel or canvas:

  11 + 14 = 25 linear inches. I multiply this by $20/inch, which in this case comes to $500. This includes everything you see below:

  I normally paint on one of the best hardboard panels out there, from the company Raymar on quality Belgian Linen.  (However, if you like traditional canvas, I can use that too, and use a quality canvas).

• Shipping/Handling/Insurance

• Wire mounting (if with frame)

• Once finished, I also apply a protective varnish.

• AND…Painted with lots of love!

 ** I do require a non-refundable deposit of 15% to acquire materials.
